  • Why use SealSafe®?

Droppers are difficult to get the exact measurement and the bottle can not be inverted which prevents you from getting the last drop of medication. Do-It Safe™ with the SealSafe® dosing adapters and ensure that every dose is the right dose¹. Safely and accurately dose medications for adults, infants, children and pets. According to a study by the CDC¹ in 2004-2005, over 60,000 children from the ages of 1-11 were sent to the Emergency Room for unsupervised ingestion. • Can I Re-Use SealSafe®?

SealSafe® Dosing Adapters are designed for use with a single bottle of medication. Once the medication is depleted, the SealSafe® adapter should be disposed of with the empty bottle. The adapters are designed to lock into the bottle so that it securely protects the bottle’s contents. Trying to remove the adapter is not recommended as it could compromise the adapters ability to securely grip the ID of the bottle neck which could expose your children to unnecessary potential risks.

  • Are SealSafe® Self-Sealing Dosing Adapters child resistant?

Removing a child resistant cap and leaving the bottle exposed on a counter could potentially place a child at harm. According to a study by the CDC¹ in 2004-2005, over 60,000 children from the ages of 1-11 were sent to the Emergency Room for unsupervised ingestion. SealSafe® Self-Sealing Dosing Adapters add the extra added security to your medication bottles to prevent children from accessing the medication when the cap is removed. • Can SealSafe® be used with Pets?

SealSafe® Dosing adapters make it easy to dispense medications to pets. Pets are often your best friend and an important member of your family. The SealSafe® dosing adapter allows you to dispense the oral pet medications directly into your pet’s mouth. The self-sealing adapter allows you to withdraw the contents of the bottle while you work to hold your cat or dog still. Dose with confidence that you are not going to lose the valuable medication or over medicate your important addition to your family as the piercable septum immediately closes up after you withdraw the syringe.

No, the SealSafe® Dosing Adapters do not have a shelf-life when they are unused or not inserted into a bottle. The SealSafe® Adapter should not be removed and reused after it has been inserted into a bottle. They are designed to lock into place and should be disposed of with the empty or expired medication bottle.

  • How many times can the SealSafe® Dosing Adapter be pierced?

  • Can SealSafe® Dosing Adapters be used with refrigerated medications?

Yes, the SealSafe® adapters have been tested in an environmental chamber at 0 degrees C or 32 degrees F and the septums or self-sealing piercable portion of the adapters still continue to seal even under accelerated aging conditions.
